Before creating a new role, you should understand the type and authorization of the preset cluster roles, as follows: 
Preset Roles Description
cluster-admin As a cluster admin, it can manage all the resources in the cluster.
cluster-regular As a regular user in cluster, it does not have any action authorization to resources until it has been invited to join the workspace.
workspaces-manager As a workspace manager in cluster, it can only create and delete workspace, and maintain the member list in workspace.

The admin can view all the roles in the platform. If the above roles do not meet the actual needs, the admin can customize the platform roles and authorization rules. Click Platform > Platform Roles > Create, as follows:
