You can copy the data retention policy if you want to reuse a policy and modify a few parameters.
Considerations:
§ The copied data retention policy template has the same retention policy configuration as the original one. Use the edit function if you need to modify it.
§ The copied data retention policy template must be renamed.
To copy a policy template,
Step 1 Log into the console as a tenant or an operator.
Step 2 Click Backup and Recovery＞Policy Template＞Data Retention Policy Template, to enter the Data Retention Policy Template tab.
Step 3 Select a data retention policy template and click Copy to open the Copy Data Retention Policy Template dialog box.
Step 4 Enter the name of data retention policy template on request.
Step 5 Click OK to complete the operation.
