The incremental backup is to back up the changed data blocks to the specified OFS media with a point in time generated. If full backup has not been performed, the incremental backup will automatically convert to full backup.
Considerations:
§ An incremental backup is not a single copy. A full backup and all the subsequent incremental backups based on it constitute a single copy. As shown in the figure below, there are three copies. The full backups on Monday and Tuesday represent one copy respectively, and the backups on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday constitute one copy.
