You may encounter insufficient backup storage space when too many backup jobs are on your management console. In this case, you can achieve space recycling via data retention policy. Once it is configured, backup copies will be retained according to the data retention period, the number of copies retained or the backup period of backup policy. In AnyBackup, one data retention policy can associate with different backup jobs, to reduce maintenance workload.
There are three data retention policies:
§ Data retention period: Copies exceeding the set time will be automatically cleaned up.
§ Number of copies retained: Copies exceeding the set number will be automatically cleaned up.
§ Set the number of backup copies retained according to backup policy: Used in combination with backup policy, set different retained copies according to different backup policies.
