AnyShare User Roles
Admin can choose Separation of Duties mode or Super Admin mode to manage. The system is under Super Admin mode by default. Therefore, admin is capable of organization, security, operation and logs audit management.
For the better management of background, AnyShare makes a distinction between permission and content management based on functionality, including System roles and User role.
System Roles
System Admin is mainly responsible for user organization, file data, cluster system and ensures data security and cluster system normal operation.
Security Admin is mainly responsible for permission policy and file policy. Ensure data security and prevent data loss. Security Admin could audit the management/access logs of the Audit Admin and the access/operation logs of ordinary user.
Audit Admin is mainly responsible for log audit, and monitors the access or management of System Admin and Security Admin.
Generally, the system default mode is Super Admin Mode. The default role in this mode is Super Admin, who is empowered with highest authority in the system. Super admin can manage the users, operations, audits, system.
User Roles
There are five user roles in AnyShare, namely, General Admin, General Auditor, Sharing Approver, File Approver and Ordinary User. Administrator could assign the ordinary users with role of general admin, general auditor, sharing approver, file approver in the Console. Users who are assigned with role can assist administrator in organization management, sharing management and file approval management.
The user role is default system role, which cannot be deleted, modified and edited.
General Admin a management role that administrator assigns to ordinary users. General Admin can log in to web console to assist administrator to manage user organizations and files he is responsible for. Besides, General Admin can configure management authority of roles and that to general auditor and general admin within his administrative scope.
General Auditor, a management role that administrator assigns to ordinary users, auditing the behavior of the ordinary users under the department and organization for which he is responsible, and managing other general auditors within his administrative scope.
Sharing Approver, a management role that administrator assigns to ordinary user, who is responsible for managing file sharing behavior of users.
File Approver, a management role that administrator assigns to ordinary user, who is responsible for auditing the approval in a workflow.
Ordinary User, the user of AnyShare. Ordinary user can login to AnyShare to access, share and manage documents. All users possess a personal document library called My Documents, which other users cannot access by default.
