Why my upload/download failed?

If a file fails to upload or download, there are some possible scenarios like the following:

• If you upload files from local, the causes might be

1. The file does not exist;
2. The file size or its format is restricted;
3. The target location does not exist;
4. Insufficient quota in target location;
5. No permission to modify when overwriting the same name file;
6. Insufficient security level;
7. The same name file has been locked.

• If you upload files after editing, the causes might be

1. The target location does not exist;
2. Versions are in conflict;
3. The target file does not exist;
4. The file size or its format is restricted;
5. Insufficient quota in target location;
6. No permission to modify the file;
7. Insufficient security level.

• If you download files from AnyShare, the causes might be

1. The target file does not exist;
2. No permission to download;
3. The file size has reached the max limit.

• Here are the suggestions:

1. Ask the Admin for assistance to change permissions or settings, such as changing the file size or format restrictions, enlarging the quota in the target location, or changing the security level or permission.
2. Ask the file owner for assistance to configure the permission to download, modify or create.
3. Ask the user who locked the file to unlock it.
