By combining this service, any virus will be detected to ensure the security after files are uploaded.

AnyShare serves all employees of enterprises. All people can share their own documents with other on-demand. Due to different usage habits and basic IT knowledge, some people’s PC and documents may be easy to be infected. The infected and shared documents are likely to spread and hardly controlled. From the perspective of IT management, the above situation increases the unacceptable possibility of spreading virus file. Given this, many customers have required the server antivirus service. The documents uploaded by users can be checked by AnyShare's built-in antivirus software and the virus files can be cleaned up in time.

On Antivirus Service
AnyShare performs either the realtime Antivirus Service in uploading files or specific document library / full-disk Antivirus Service.

Scenarios
At work, different working habits and IT knowledge of different people are doomed to cause poisoning. If the poisoned documents are shared, they are likely to spread and hardly be controlled. From the perspective of IT management, this will increase the unacceptable possibility of spreading poisoned files. Therefore, in order to meet the needs, AnyShare provides the Antivirus Service, which offers the realtime Antivirus Service or specific document library / full-disk Antivirus Service in uploading files. In uploading files, AnyShare has a mechanism of triggering the task creation in realtime and asking the server to kill the virus. In terms of the full-disk antivirus service, an administrator can manually create a task and manage the scan task. If you want more details, please check the description of this part in the Management Console.

Functions
  • Detect virus in the files being uploaded in realtime and automatically quarantine poisoned files

After enabling this service, all files uploaded by a user from the AnyShare client will be automatically scanned for antivirus. Once the file with a virus is scanned, it will be delivered to the quarantine area and a message will be sent to inform the user. The user can view all quarantined files in the quarantine area, including the files with a virus and the files with sensitive words. An administrator can restore or eradicate those files. If a poisoned file can be fixed by the antivirus component,  a fixed file will be uploaded to the original folder.

Restrictions on Usage
An administrator needs to deploy the anti-virus service in the management console and enable the anti-virus service. For detailed operational steps, please check the description of this part in the management console before users can use the relevant functions of the antivirus service on the client.
